Icelandic riding

Horses, nature sport and Imagination is a fantastic combination. On horseback you experience the nature up close while at the same time reaching far and wide. Horseback riding is just as much a sport for the body as it is a sport for the soul.

Icelandic horseriding

Islænderridning vil foregå i mindre hold, hvor der er tid til alle ryttere, både nybegyndere og erfarne ryttere. Der vil i den daglige profilfagsundervisning både indgå øvelse i grundridning, ture i terrænet og pasning og håndtering af hestene. Undervisningen vil halvdelen af tiden bestå af ridning i den skønne natur i samarbejde med ridecentrene i Fårup og Blokhus, mens den anden halvdel af tiden vil blive brugt på fordybelse, træning og planlægning af den foranstående profilfagsrejse. Der vil også indtænkes udflugter til Krogbækgaard på Læsø i planlægningen af profilfaget.

The trip

The profile trip is planned after new students' day, when we have a clue of the students' interests and skills.

In the 1st period possible destinations include Læsø, Sweden or Austria

In the 3rd period last year we travelled to Iceland, but other suggestions are welcomed.
