What is it like to travel with Ranum Efterskole College? How is the life at the efterskole? Is it easy or difficult to meet new friends?
If you are considering a year at an efterskole, you probably have a lot of questions. Find the answer to some of your questions right here.
We are often put to the test, because there are so many people around that even 4 months into the year we meet new faces. For me personally, it has been a fantastic year with a lot of new memories, friends and new stories to tell.
I quickly became very close with the people I live with, as we were all on the same page when we moved in the very first day. Since then our connection has grown and we have been through so much together and learned so much from one another, also having had the same daily responsibilities and routines. It is definitely a year that I will never forget, and I will be forever thankful for having the opportunity to experience it.
Attending Ranum has made me a much more independent and confident person, and taught me many things about meeting new people.
The year at Ranum can only be described with one word. Fantastic. It is a year I would not have missed. I have become much more and have met a lot of new nice friends who, I am sure, will also be there when the year ends.
It was fantastic! I enjoy a lot of activities and classes at school. I was the best school year I ever had!
As a student coming from a very small town, and also having only attended a very small school earlier, it is definitely an experience for life. You'll arrive at a school with 450 other people and suddenly you have to figure out how to live your everyday life at school. You'll experience other cultures and people who have never heard of an efterskole, and suddenly you have to share a table, classroom and even a room with them.
I developed a lot as a person at Ranum. I've become a much more tolerant person and I have an easier time being around people who are not like me.
When I first started at Ranum, I had a picture in my head of how the year would be, but it did not take long for that picture to be completely shattered and forgotten, because a year at Ranum can't be predicted. I have enjoyed every last second and I wish I could turn back time and do it all over again. The friends I have met and the memories I have from this year is something I will carry with me going forward.
It was interesting to visit a communistic country, because you couldn't go to a McDonald's or other western shops. Everything is Cuban and also there isn't a lot of stuff - whereas in Miami everything is in mega size and a lot of wealth is on display. In Havana the Cuban music is everywhere and creates a fantastic energy in the city.
A super cool experience. I met a lot of new friends that I am really thankful for having met. It has without a doubt been the best year of my life.
Ranum has taught me to make the best out of a situation.
My year at REC has been a total upheaval. I have met a ton of nice people and friends, and I made memories for life. But most importantly I have become closer to myself and have developed extremely my, personality wise. I has without a doubt been the best year of my life and something that will define me as a person.
Being at Ranum has taught me to be more individual and making decisions for myself.
It has been a really educational year with tons of memories and new friends for life"
The trip to Los Angeles was one of the most awesome things I have ever experienced, because I learned so much about American culture and the opposites between cheerleading in the USA and here in Europe - because they really are different.
