If you would like to try your strength with nature and yourself, you should choose Adventure - Outdoor at Ranum Efterskole College.
We will work with theoretical and practical outdoor skills. You will learn to take care of yourself on excursions and get knowledge about the nature. The main focus will be on experiencing the nature and togetherness.
As a rule we use the nature as our classroom. Vilsted Sø is situated about 300m from the school. Here, we will construct rafts and train canoe and kayak sailing. Furthermore, Jenle-Søttrup plantation and Uhrehøj plantation, which we will use for orienteering races and mountainbiking, are situated near the school. We has a boulder- and climbing wall at our disposal.
We use nature as more than just a backdrop for our activities. We prioritise the intimacy and tranquillity of simple outdoor life. We cultivate social interaction around the campfire and learn to appreciate primitive cooking and shelter made from natural materials. We experience the power of working together as a team. We lace up our hiking boots and explore the local area.
Adventure Outdoor is for EVERYONE regardless of previous experience and qualifications. You must, however, have the courage and drive to push yourself and practise what we learn.
Travelling will be to either Norway or the Czech Republic.

Terms
Terms: All students are ensured in relation to dangerous sport up to 500.000,- DKK. by damages that are not covered by the school's business insurance. See the security instructions in relation to kayak/water activities. The need for good equipment must be expected, e.g.: Knapsack, boots, shell jacket, sleeping bag etc. You are welcome to bring your own mountainbike.
Self-payment: Price is not fixed yet (Previous price was about 3.500,- kr.)
