On 27 September 2026, from 10.00 to 17.00, Ranum Efterskole College invites you to Efterskole Day. Here, you can experience one of Denmark’s most international efterskole schools, centrally located in North Jutland. The day will feature exciting guided tours, international experiences, music, dance and the chance to find out about the school’s unique specialised subjects, the Cambridge programme and our efterskole trips.

🎭 Things to do all day long

Guided tour with the pupils - 10.00–17.00
The pupils will show you round the school and tell you about life at efterskole, specialised subjects, cultural subjects and efterskole trips. Just ask a pupil – they’ll be on hand all day.

The music group provides entertainment - The music room

Start the day with an international breakfast buffet featuring dishes inspired by cuisines from around the world.

World Cuisine Lunch - The Square · at. 11.00–14.00
Ranum’s acclaimed ‘World Cuisine’ serves lunch in Torvet – food that brings people together, featuring flavours from this year’s travels and students from all over the world.

The Sweet Kitchen - The Square · at. 14.00–17.00
End the day with sweet temptations from Det Søde Køkken on Torvet.

Do I need to register in advance?
Registration isn’t compulsory, but we do recommend that you register. That way, we’ll know how much food to prepare, and you’re guaranteed an even better experience. Register for Efterskolernes Day.

Where shall we park our car?
There are parking spaces near the campus. Look out for the blue ‘P’ signs on the map above.

Is there a check-in, and if so, where?
Yes, there is a check-in where we’ll register your arrival and you’ll be given the programme and other materials, as well as a brief introduction to the activities on offer. Check-in takes place at the main building, marked with a red ‘I’ on the campus map. See above.

Is the guided tour in English?
The tour can be conducted in both Danish and English – our students and staff speak both languages, so please do let us know which suits you best.

Is the school accessible to people with disabilities?
We do our best to make everyone feel welcome. Much of the campus, including the Assembly Hall and the dining hall, is accessible to wheelchair users and those with walking difficulties. Please contact us at info@ranumefterskole.dk or call +45 9666 4400 before your visit, so that we can assist you as best we can.

Are there any accommodation options for those of us travelling from far away?
There are several places to stay near Ranum – hotels, B&Bs and holiday centres, for example in Rønbjerg (approx. 4 km) and Løgstør. Please contact us at info@ranumefterskole.dk, if you’d like some help finding somewhere to stay.
