Ranum Efterskole College is looking for efterskole Teachers

Ranum Efterskole College is looking for efterskole teachers who can teach one or two of the following subjects: Maths, Cambridge International Maths, Science or Business Studies. If you can also teach one of our more than 50 electives, especially adventure, dance, handball or gymnastics, as well as one of our many cultural subjects, that would be fantastic.

We are an academic and international efterskole with 500+ students and 60 teachers. The study environment at the school is very international and we have colleagues and students from all over the world - therefore we speak both Danish and English at the school. The school year is divided into 3 periods. Students and staff work closely together to shape the content and set common goals in the subjects. Each period ends with a trip. We travel for up to 28 days and all over the world.

We are a large efterskole and this provides opportunities for world-class professional and personal development - for both students and staff. We work in subject and tutor teams in a flat structure. We are passionate about creating a diverse and democratic efterskole environment with high ceilings and room for the individual while respecting the community. We have good facilities and a world kitchen with a focus on sustainable and healthy food.

You are welcome to apply even if you have a background other than a teacher training programme, but believe you have the qualifications, e.g. as a high school teacher or similar.
