Follow us on our travels around the world

Dear reader!

If butterflies could lift a school, we would soar above the waters of the world. Pupils and teachers have been working hard all week to complete and prepare the academic programmes, ready to set off on the third and final journey of this school year.

We travel to 15 different destinations, combining both profile subject interests with cultural and friendship school visits. The new profile subjects E-sport and E-music go to London and Amsterdam respectively, while Yoga lifestyle unfolds in Sicily and Nordic Challenge goes snowshoeing and dog sledding in the deepest and highest high mountain in Norway. There will be plenty of adventures and experiences to share along the way and after the trip, so follow us on...

The safety instructions for travelling. When we travel around the world, safety is one of the highest priority focus areas, and all travellers prepare safety instructions to ensure that the right precautions and decisions can be taken quickly and efficiently in the event of an accident.

Parents' letters for the trips.
In connection with the organisation of profile subjects and trips, teachers and students prepare a series of information letters for parents, which can be read here.

We travel the world and the world comes to Ranum.
In the coming week, 6 guest students from Thailand will arrive in Denmark to experience Copenhagen and then Ranum for a month. During the Easter holidays they will experience how a Danish family lives, and we would like to appeal to you to contact us on the school's email info@ranumefterskole.dk, if you would like to host a student during these days. It is important for the visiting students and it is a unique experience for you.

School is not closed during travel week
During the travel week, the school office is open, while the school phone is answered for emergency calls between 15.30-18.00 by the management. We are also using the week to lay new flooring in the lower corridor of the Seminary House, and to renovate the cafe area with new ceilings, wall coverings and new furniture.
We wish everyone a great spring week and students and staff a fantastic travel experience.
And we are very much looking forward to welcoming all students back from their travels and to 3 good days in the afterschool community before we can send them home for the Easter holidays on 12.4.

Best regards and have a great weekend!
