Road Trip West-USA

Culture-profiled subject trip to the Western USA

The United States is a country of extreme contrasts. USA Road Trip West will try to balance the distance between the two extremes; city life and country life as well as the associated nature and culture. In contrast to city life, we will drive through the vast natural landscapes that the western USA has to offer, including visits to national parks and Native American landscapes.

The trip

We will try to organise a school visit and highlight the contrast between the different religions and cultural beliefs that the Western United States has to offer.

Perhaps we will also visit both Native Americans and visit various national parks.

The lessons

In class, we will work with students to plan what the US Road trip will include. In addition to planning the trip, we will teach American history and culture.

Corona: Restrictions, rules etc.

You must be fully vaccinated to travel to the US by air if you are not a US citizen or immigrant (not a US citizen, US national, legal permanent resident or traveling to the US on an immigrant visa). Only limited exceptions apply.

You must present a negative COVID-19 test result or proof of immunity from COVID-19 when travelling to the US by air that is no more than 24 hours old. You are required to wear a mask over your nose and mouth in indoor areas of public transportation (including airplanes) when traveling to, within, or out of the United States, and indoors at U.S. transportation hubs (including airports).
