Crafts & Creativity

Craft & Creativity is a creative course where you will be introduced to different techniques in art. These include sculptures, installations, drawing, watercolour, jewellery making, stencils, upcycling and redesign. Only your imagination sets the limits and you will be guided through the different work processes. We will be explorative and curious about what art is and use different artworks that either appeal or repel us as a starting point.

This year our focus will be on the Venice Art Biennale, which for the 61st time brings together contemporary art from around the world. You will choose an artist from the Biennale and create your own interpretation of their artwork.

The theme of this year's Art Biennale is “In minor keys” The theme focuses on the small, overlooked aspects of life, care, hope and community (“minor keys” as notes), and invites us to find “oases” and communities in a complex world.
