16 Apr Ranum wishes everyone a happy Easter!
Dear all,
The recent past has been characterised by an abundance of innovation and community spirit here at Ranum Efterskole College. Spring is really starting to arrive, and it's evident in both teaching and everyday life, with sunshine and longer days providing extra energy and the desire to explore new ideas. Students have just switched to the new electives, which puts creativity in focus and opens up for new projects that are already being planned for the summer. At the same time, we are still sharing happy memories from the previous year's trips, inspiring students to put their learning into perspective and engage in even more communities.
The open and curious approach that characterises our students has created an atmosphere of possibility and engagement that practically buzzes through the hallways. Many have already started planning workshops and events where they can bring travel experiences, new electives and different interests into play. Spring not only leaves its mark on the outdoors, but also on the inner life of the school, where unity grows as students challenge themselves and each other.
We look forward to seeing how the many initiatives unfold over the coming months. Here at Ranum Efterskole College we have a high ceiling - both physically and mentally - and it's this openness to development and collaboration that creates the unforgettable experiences that our students will take with them into the future. And we can't wait to see them all back at school after the Easter holidays - full of inspiration and renewed energy!
We wish everyone a very happy Easter.
The Easter Hunt
Today we celebrated the coming of Easter with an atmospheric Easter huntwhich brought the students closer together and brought smiles across the board. Together, they explored the corners of the school and experienced how shared play and a little competition can strengthen the bond between them. The joy of finding colourful Easter eggs and sharing the excitement with peers and teachers alike underlined once again why we put community first. Students went home with richer friendships in their backpacks, and we hope that this experience will warm their Easter holidays and allow the sense of community to flourish in the time to come.

Headmaster's column
Dear reader,
The Funen poet Mads Hansen wrote in the Christmas carol It's Christmas time again - that "Christmas lasts until Easter" - And even though it's just a Christmas carol, we have to say that we have received many gifts in the form of great experiences since Christmas. First the two joint travels, and then the big cultural trips to 19 different countries. But perhaps the greatest gift is that we experience the community growing stronger every day that spring warms up the school's outdoor life. The trips have given us new friendships and it is a great joy to experience the diversity of communities. The experience that as a young person you are not "just" "one" type in a community, but see and participate in a wide variety of communities is perhaps the most important gift and what makes the 1TP5 year the most important year of a young person's life and not just THE best year of their life. It is an incredibly important experience for all students to see and accept each other's different arenas and give each other the freedom to switch between them, without stigmatising, excluding and controlling each other in a norm regime. Have a great Easter holiday!
