Dear reader,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is our great pleasure to finally say welcome back to Ranum to our students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After-school life at the school has returned in the most beautiful way. It is not the same school as before the corona virus broke out, but the most important thing is that we can be here - together but in a new way. It takes getting used to, and the process we are well underway with. Here you can get an insight into how the process is progressing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reunification: \"Welcome back\"<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Monday was the big reunion day, and the atmosphere was a bit like a new first day of school. The cars were packed with excited pupils and parents were hugged goodbye, a bit like the first drop-off. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, the students were able to return to their rooms, friends and familiar after-school surroundings. They also came back to new guidelines such as keeping the corridors the same, enforcing distance for those not in family groups with each other and eating lunch and dinner in the rooms. In return, we get to finish the afterschool year together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Teaching: \"We take it outside today\"<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Most lessons that are not still digital have been moved outside. We sit on the grass in front of the Seminary building, at tables and benches all around, and it's actually not bad at all. At the time of writing, students are sitting in small groups, working together in the sunshine, and a quick glance across the lawn reveals that there are broad smiles on the faces of the students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      After school life: \"Good to be back\"<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      Of course, we have a lot of catching up to do, and that's why we're busy. There have been bonfires, snob bread, relaxing in the new hammocks, beach volleyball, football, street basketball, king games and \"human table football\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      There's no doubt that we're going to appreciate the last weeks of the afterschool year - we've certainly had a wonderful start to the last time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        The Snack Shack: All the best from Brugsen<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

        Students go to the supermarket in a slightly different way these days. Carsten has opened a small kiosk in a classroom, where you can get everything from roulades to iced tea. All the products that Brugsen sells most of. So at least that part is covered now, when students can't get to Brugsen like before. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

        The queue was huge when The Snack Shack first opened, so it was a good idea Carsten had.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          These were the main headlines for this week. We're still relieved, expectant and thrilled to have the students back. The course is set and the challenges that may come along the way, we will overcome. Thank you to all of you who have backed the school with messages and helping hands - you are gold to us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Next week<\/strong> we continue with lots of activities to enjoy after-school life, and several have exams in different subjects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
