After the students' travels in week 41, the classrooms at Ranum Efterskole College have come alive again. The week has offered both endings and new beginnings - from the final lessons in the profile subjects to inspiring presentations and visits from outside. We are already looking ahead to this spring's big cultural studies trips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finalising the profile courses<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The students have now had their last lessons in the profile subjects. It was a week of retrospection, where experiences from both teaching and travelling were rounded off. The profile courses mark the end of an intense and eventful programme that has given the students skills, community and memories to take with them. It also marks the end of the first quarter of the school year, when many students realise how quickly time flies. It also means that there are new subjects on the timetable and new choices that will once again offer exciting challenges, communities and experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Close match in Padel final tournament<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On Monday, the final Padel tournament was held after the trip to Malaga. First, Team-Americano was played and the four best teams advanced to two close semi-finals. The final was very well played and evenly matched, and the happy winners were Noah and Malthe - congratulations. A big thank you from teacher Mette to the whole team for a great programme and many good matches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A gripping lecture with Daniel Rye<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On Tuesday, Daniel Rye visited and told his gripping story of being taken hostage in Syria by Islamic State. The ballroom was silent as he shared his experiences and reflections. Daniel said that he hopes his story can remind us to keep our spirits up even when the world seems hopeless. It was an experience that made a strong impression on students and staff alike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
