Mexico - land of cultures, traditions, and flavours.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

On the trip, students will discover the Yucatan Peninsula on the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean. We will visit three very different cities: Cancun, Valladolid and Merida. We will stay privately for part of the trip with hosts in the Merida area with families who are in some way connected to the school or are known to the families of former students.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, we will see a lot of historical sites including the Mayan temple at the archaeological site of Chichen Itza, voted one of the 7 newest wonders of the world, we will swim in cenotes and much, much more.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The purpose of the trip is to develop, push personal boundaries and form you through experiences of another culture.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This is the second time that Ranum Efterskole College travels to Mexico, so the students will also have the opportunity to come up with good ideas for places that they think should be experienced on the trip.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

As part of the preparation for the trip and the foreign culture, we will immerse ourselves in different topics of Mexican culture, traditions, religion, geography or history. We will prepare a presentation on a specific topic to be presented to the other students in the class. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
