This is why you should choose Myths and Legends.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

In the profile subject Myths and Legends, we work with myths and legends from around the world. In class we will alternate between watching, reading and hearing about different mystical\/superstitious topics and then actively producing our own research about famous places\/people or events.<\/div>\n
Based on the students' interest, they will help plan the trip and sights.<\/div>\n
We should be fascinated, amazed and maybe a little scared as we delve into all things supernatural and fantastical.<\/div>\n
We will also spend some of the class time preparing for the trip. We will familiarise ourselves with the War of Independence between Scotland and England and the relationship with England in general. In addition, we will learn about the legend of Greyfriers\u2019 Bobby, The Loch Ness Monster and the Harry Potter universe.<\/div>\n

The trip<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n
Travelling to Northern Europe's most haunted city, Edinburgh in Scotland.<\/div>\n
Edinburgh is a charming capital city with cosy streets and fascinating history. We will strive to stay within walking distance of the old town. We'll walk the Royal Mile and visit the two castles, one at each end. We'll go on a city walk in the dark and experience the shadow side of the city. There will also be the opportunity to experience Scotland's unique nature around the city.<\/div>\n
We aim for a day trip out of the city past Inverness and Loch Ness.<\/div>\n
