Mountain life in Canada<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We will be driving through the Rocky Mountains in British Columbia and visit towns where the mountain life is a natural part of the everyday.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The goal is to experience a different kind of nature and culture than we are used to. The mountains in Canada make out a big part of the country and the inhabitants have to live with this - for better or for worse. We will be driving through the Rocky Mountains in British Columbia and visit towns where the mountain life is a natural part of the everyday.\nWe will get involved in the work and the life that comes with living in the mountains, e.g. tourism, sports, avalanche\/snow security, POW (Protect Our Winters), school visits and not least 2 different homestays in Cranbrook and Whistler.<\/p>\n

The trip<\/h2>\n

Start in Calgary and end destination in Vancouver (the Pacific Ocean).<\/p>\n

During the trip we will be travelling through Banff, Radium Hot Springs, Penticton, Kicking Horse, Cranbrook, Lake Louise and Whistler. Here, the students will have a say in what we are going to experience in each place.<\/p>\n
