DELF stands for Dipl\u00f4me d'\u00e9tudes en langue fran\u00e7aise - Diploma in French Language Studies. The diploma documents the student's competences in the key knowledge and skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking and interaction. The DELF diploma is issued by the French Ministry of Education and is internationally recognised. Once obtained, the diploma is valid for life.<\/p>\n

Why do we offer DELF at Ranum Efterskole College?<\/strong><\/p>\n

We find that DELF fulfils two needs. Firstly, DELF allows enthusiastic and motivated learners to excel while encouraging them to further master the French language. Secondly, DELF allows learners from French or French-speaking backgrounds to approach this part of their cultural heritage. DELF at level B1 gives access to French universities under the ERASMUS exchange programme.<\/p>\n

We offer DELF at three levels: A1 (beginner), A2 (intermediate) and B1 (threshold). The exam costs are paid by the school. As the preparation for the DELF exam is fully integrated into the regular classes, students do not need to fear an increased workload. The DELF exam is divided into two parts: an individual oral proficiency test and a joint test in the remaining language disciplines.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>

It is an official certificate issued by the French Ministry of Education documenting practical proficiency in the French language. DELF attests skill in the core fields of listening, speaking, reading, and writing. It is an internationally recognised certificate and, once attained, it is valid for life. DELF can be taken at various levels from beginner to independent user.<\/p>\n
