    My year at Ranum Efterskole was truly a once in a lifetime experience and has greatly impacted who I am today. I discovered so much about me and my passions during my year there. I made friendships that will last a lifetime and I gained confidence in myself and my abilities.\r\nI stayed in Denmark after Ranum and completed my IB Diploma and became fluent in Danish.\r\nI am now studying my Bachelor Degrees in Foreign Languages and Business Administration here in Denmark.<\/p>

    Ranum Efterskole allowed me to evolve socially and learn things about myself that I would have never learned, if I had stayed in the States. I met some of my closest friends in Ranum and got the chance to explore a culture different than mine.\r\n\r\nMy credits transferred back to my New York high school and I think it prepared me for living independently at college.     Ranum Efterskole gave me a new perspective on how learning can be approached.\r\nI realised that learning did not have to be just doing what you were told, instead we were encouraged to think outside of the box, and to put emphasis on the process.\r\nI completed high school in Canada after Ranum, although being half a globe away, I held onto the Danish values of freedom, equality, and sense of community, several elements that were important at Ranum.\r\nI also brought with me the same attitude of learning while doing activities that I enjoy. I met tons of friends from different countries in Canada, and it reminded me of how student from all over the world became one at Ranum.\r\nI am now in Europe and I am studying media and film in Budapest.<\/p>
